Satellite

Satellite is a live coding performance with Isaac Medina, made during the COVID-19 pandemic. We streamed it, recorded it, and archived it on a server that plays it on an endless loop, triggering satellite images from NASA taken over many years.

There is no start to press play on: each visitor drops into the hypermedia performance wherever the server’s clock has it, like tuning in to a broadcast already under way.

For PROJECTION/PROJEKTION, a screen recording of its full duration was shown in San Antonio and Darmstadt.
